We do not charge for the core at the time of purchase

(Unlike some of our competitors)

We do not charge for return shipping on old cores

(We only charge if you do not return the core)


What this means for our customers:

There are no annoying rebates to deal with. We only charge you if you do not send us the old core within 30 days of purchase! We pay for return shipping on old cores. We make core return as quick and painless as possible!


Definition of Core:

The core is the old unit, which was replaced by the new or rebuilt item. Some new items, for example the Alliant product line, require the return of the old core.

Shipping Method:

We will issue a UPS “RETURN SERVICE LABEL” for return shipping, at no charge to you. Our core policy is straightforward and simple:

  • After installing the new / rebuilt item, simply put OLD ITEM / UNIT back in the original shipping box. Please drain off oil or fuel if possible. Wrap in sturdy plastic bag if needed.
  • Please write the invoice number on the outside of the package to help us simplify identification.
  • Put the return service label over the original shipping label and drop off at your local UPS drop location.

Please ensure item is sent back using our return service label for free return shipping. Only one return label will be issued for no charge to the customer. If this label is lost or misplaced it will be the customer’s responsibility to return the core within the 30-day return period. There are NO EXTRA CHARGES for this service.


*** NOTE ***

Customers outside the continental US (lower 48 states) will be responsible for shipping the core back. UPS return service labels can only be sent to customers in the lower 48 US states. Please call if you have any questions.


COD, Checks, & PayPal:

All non credit card orders, such as COD, check, and PayPal will require that we have a credit card on file on orders with a core value. The on file credit card will not be charged unless the core is not returned in the specified time frame. We can also arrange a refundable core charge as well. Please call for further details.

Core Physical Condition:

We do not grade or issue partial credit of core unless it has been in a fire; has been disassembled (i.e. not in "as removed condition"). Cores need to be returned within 30 Days - please call if you need additional time for core return.

After 30 Days:

  • The credit card that we have on file will be charged for the amount of the core (amount will vary depending on the part, and will appear on the invoice).
  • If the core is returned after 30 days a full refund of the core charge minus 10% will be issued to the customer.
  • If the core is returned after 60 days only 50% of the core charge will be refunded.
  • We reserve the right to deny refund OR up to 50% of the original core charge for core returns after ninety days. The refund amount, if any, will be determined at time of return.
